Data Deletion
Last updated: November 2026
RamToolKit applications connect to third-party platforms only with explicit authorization from a Really American Media team member. If you want any data tied to your account or platform identity removed from our systems, follow the steps below.
How to request deletion
- Email james@reallyamerican.com from the address associated with your account or the connected platform.
- Include the platform(s) you want disconnected (e.g. Facebook, Threads, Instagram, YouTube, Substack, Bluesky) and any account handles or IDs you'd like us to confirm we've removed.
- We will revoke the OAuth token at the source platform, delete the corresponding records (OAuth tokens, snapshots, content metadata) from our database, and confirm completion by email within 30 days.
Automated platform deletion callbacks
For platforms that support data deletion callbacks (e.g. Threads, Facebook), submitting a deletion request via the platform's own settings will automatically trigger the same flow above. You do not need to email us separately.
What is deleted
- OAuth access and refresh tokens (revoked at the source platform).
- Aggregate snapshots and time-series data tied to the disconnected account.
- Cached content metadata (post titles, URLs, thumbnails).
What is retained
We may retain minimal records required to comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, or enforce our agreements. Standard server access logs are retained for up to 90 days for operational diagnostics.
